  Amazing Safari  - Safari was amazing!!! Seen so many wildlife in their natural environment and ticked off every animal on my checklist. The change in environments / landscapes was soo different and how... read more the animals adapt was pretty cool. Francis was our amazing safari guide with large amounts of knowledge about the area / animals and culture. It was good the door to door service from our hotel which made it so easy and comfortable. The accommodation was also soo good on and off the park which had every meal sorted. Over all the safari was sooo awesome!!

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up in Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive south towards Amboseli National Park, watching the landscape shift from city skyline to open plains. Arrive at Hillstone Safari Lodge in time for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive. Keep your camera ready for the park’s famous big tuskers—large herds of elephants roaming against the spectacular backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2: Full Day Wildlife Discovery in Amboseli

Wake up to the golden light of sunrise, often the best time to see the mountain clearly. Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse habitats, from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulphur springs. Visit Observation Hill for a panoramic view of the swamps below, teeming with hippos, elephants, and vibrant birdlife. After a lunch break, continue your search for lions, cheetahs, and hyenas in the acacia woodlands.

Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to the mountain and drive to Tsavo West National Park. This rugged wilderness is known for its dramatic volcanic scenery, including the Shetani Lava Flow. Check in at Tauso Tsavo Eco Lodge and enjoy lunch. Your afternoon game drive includes a visit to the crystal-clear Mzima Springs, where you can walk into an underwater observation chamber to view hippos and crocodiles swimming in the filtered waters.

Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

Cross over into Tsavo East National Park, the largest protected area in Kenya. The landscape changes to vast, flat savannahs known as the Yatta Plateau. Check in at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, strategically located near the Aruba Dam, which attracts wildlife year-round. Spend your afternoon tracking the famous “Red Elephants” (colored by the red volcanic soil) and the unique maneless lions of Tsavo.

Day 5: Tsavo East to Diani Beach

Enjoy a final early morning game drive as you exit the park, leaving the wilderness behind for the coast. Drive towards the palm-fringed Diani Beach, consistently voted one of Africa’s best beaches. Check in at Diani Sea Lodge and enjoy a seafood lunch. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax on the pristine white sands, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or explore the nearby Shimoni Caves.

Day 6: Diani Beach to Nairobi

Wake up to the sound of ocean waves and enjoy a tropical breakfast. Depending on your schedule, you can enjoy a final dip in the pool before transferring to Ukunda Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi (Wilson Airport or JKIA), marking the end of your unforgettable bush and beach adventure.
