Jarrod V23. October, 2025Verified Amazing Safari Safari was amazing!!! Seen so many wildlife in their natural environment and ticked off every animal on my checklist. The change in environments / landscapes was soo different and how the animals adapt was pretty cool. Francis was our amazing safari guide with large amounts of knowledge about the area / animals and culture. It was good the door to door service from our hotel which made it so easy and comfortable. The accommodation was also soo good on and off the park which had every meal sorted. Over all the safari was sooo awesome!! Maddie M23. October, 2025Verified Magical safari experience with Francis & the Cherish Africa team We had the most wonderful time on safari with Francis. He was so friendly and was passionate about making sure we had the best experience. His knowledge of the parks and animals was fantastic! He made sure we all had a great time and went above and beyond to help us spot many of the iconic animals across Amboseli and Tsavo East and West. The accommodation during the our safari was also great. We especially loved the accommodations that were inside the parks! Getting up close to elephants is an experience I’ll never forget! We made so many wonderful memories and had a truly brilliant time thanks to Francis and Cherish Africa! We absolutely recommend them for your safari adventure! Meg B23. October, 2025Verified Amazing all round Cherish were an amazing company. We were completely looked after the whole time from having water in the car, meals and accomodation sorted seamlessly and an amazing safari experience. Our guide Francis shared information about Kenya beyond the national parks. He was a complete expert about the animals within the parks and chose the best positions to see the animals up close by knowing how the animals would move. He also gave great tips on where to take the best photos and knew where the lighting would be good. We saw leopards, lions, elephants, hippos, buffalos, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, a tsavo cat and many more. Frances was fun and happy to be around. Our accommodation was amazing with great views, food and facilities. Frances gave us the option to tailor parts of the trip including having a packed lunch in the park, which we loved. The vehicle was very comfortable and we always felt safe. Would recommend 1000/10 nezamuddin a20. October, 2025Verified Amazing.Africa tour We booked cherish africa before going to Keniya. The tour operator was cordial and easy to communicate through whatsapp. Price was somewhat similar to other operators. Good thing was we paid via cash at nairobi while others were asking for bank transfer in advance. Their guide (Wikistar at nairobi, James for safari at Masai Mara) were extremely helpful, warm, reliable and friendly. They made sure we dont miss out anything interesting throughout the trip. We stayed at Mara Big 5 camp which was another blessing for us. Beautiful ambience, excellent staffs, delicious food. Only drawback was the resort at Nakuru ( Nakuru hill side resort and spa) on the last day which was not upto our expectation. Overall great experience. Highly recommend this tour operator for their service. We must also mention the visit to Kibera and the guide there was amazing. Just loved him when he said" we all are more similar than we are different( all over the world). Africa is a continent which can teach us a lot. Aran D22. August, 2025Verified Driver : Excellent, informative, good natured, accommodating and helpful I had a truly unforgettable experience, everything was very easy and straight forward. I saw the animals up close and in an incredible way. I always felt comfortable and had a great experience with the driver. I cannot recommend enough. My experience with the company was also great as I booked late and got very quick information, feedback and confirmation. They also checked in regularly. Outstanding experience overall. Cheng J22. August, 2025Verified 13 days safaris Our 13-day trip with Cherish Safaris was far beyond our expectations. Everything was well organized — hotels, food, and schedule — and we enjoyed every moment. Even when our son had a stomach issue, the operator handled it with great care and professionalism. Truly excellent value for money!” James Dana A13. July, 2025Verified Mind-blowing private safari July 1 - 10 I am very happy to provide an honest and candid review of a private safari I took with Cherish Africa Safaris Limited from July 1 to July 10, 2025: Nairobi, Samburu, Nakuru, Naivasha, Maasi Mara, Amboseli, Nairobi. Based upon the proposal I received, I booked the trip. The proposal contained what I perceived as exaggerated descriptions. Just marketing. Nevertheless, I booked. To set the record straight, I was impressed by what I saw. Better than the brochure. Yes, Kenya is mind-blowingly beautiful and extremely popular especially in the month of July, the beginning of the dry season. I had been warned about the crowds. When someone spots a chetah, the word gets out and when you get there you share the event with ten other vehicles. Not good. Here is what Cherish got right and I do not know how they do it, somehow the most amazing things we saw, and we saw ALONE. I saw two male lions cuddling, yawning, and head butting ten feet away, fifteen elephants walking single file in front of our land rover, Wilde beast, rhinoceros, zebras, giraffes, hippos in abundance from the get-go. Accommodations were not five stars or luxurious, but they did not come with the luxurious price tag. If five stars are what you want plan to pay triple the price. There was an AC, but it is not necessary. Nights were cool. Nippy sometimes. I needed a sweater at night. The food (three meals a day included) was fine and healthy: the rooms nice with mosquito netting and fans with an authentic feel. The staff smiling, friendly and sweet. Everyone. I had a private safari. However, if you would like to travel with a group of friends, say two to six, you can really save money by spreading the cost of the land rover and guide over the number of guests. I would like to end with two things. I will go on another safari with Cherish next year to various locations less well-known. Cherish knows of some gems out there. I will go only under one condition, that Bena is my tour guide. He is so knowledgeable. I accused him of having extrasensory perception (ESP). A week before my safari my asthma, which had gone into remission, came back and progressively worsened before the trip and I foolishly did nothing prior to traveling. On the safari my driver concerned about my asthma suggested that we stop at a pharmacy, where I got excellent care and treatment which held me over until I returned to the United States, July 11. 5 Stars. Note: Get cash for tips. The cash tip may be an individual’s sole source of income. Do not tip with your currency’s coins. Worthless in Kenya and insulting. And would you tip a bell boy two quarters in the USA? What are people thinking? Gabriele P4. July, 2025Verified The greatest experience We did an amazing 10-day safari across the main parks of Kenya. It has been an incredible experience, perfectly organized and executed by the cherish team. Francis, our guide for the entire experience, has a deep knowledge and a true passion for wildlife, as well as a profound respect for nature, which is something very special. It made the best out of our safari experience, 100% recommended! Arjun B27. June, 2025Verified Best tour guide ever From the moment we were picked up, our guide went above and beyond. He made sure we were comfortable, engaged, and amazed at every turn. His stories, sharp eyes, and love for the Mara made this one of the best travel experiences of our lives. Sand S27. June, 2025Verified Amazing wildlife place to visit. Best place for exploring amazing views and wild animals with Masai people and tasty foods.I had a great fun with my friends and we met different people from different countries ,had a campfire and enjoyed..Tripadvisor rating score: 4.8 of 5, based on 22 reviews
