DAY 01: NAIROBI – LAKE NAIVASHA
Depart Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley as you head toward Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, check into Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge and settle in before enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, take a peaceful boat ride on Lake Naivasha to spot hippos and a variety of birds, or choose a guided nature walk around the lodge area for a closer look at the region’s natural beauty. The atmosphere around the lake is calm, ideal for photography and relaxation. After your activities, return to the lodge, unwind, and enjoy a well-prepared dinner. DAY 02: LAKE NAIVASHA – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey toward the world-famous Maasai Mara. The drive takes you through rural landscapes and small towns, with a stop in Narok town for lunch. Continue into the Maasai Mara, where you check in at Mara Simba Lodge. After settling in, head out for your first afternoon game drive, exploring the rolling plains and watching for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and various antelope species. DAY 03–07: FULL DAYS IN MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Spend the next five full days discovering the Maasai Mara at a comfortable, unhurried pace. Each morning begins with an early game drive, the best time to spot predators before the sun becomes strong. After enjoying sunrise views over the plains, return to the lodge for breakfast. Depending on the day, you may enjoy leisure time at the lodge or head out for extended wildlife viewing. Picnic lunches are served inside the reserve, allowing you to stay out longer and explore deeper areas of the Mara.
In the afternoons, continue with another game drive, visiting different regions of the reserve where you may encounter large herds of herbivores, birdlife, and seasonal migration activity when in season. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged at your request, offering insight into local culture and traditions. DAY 08: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing landscapes along the route as you exit the Mara and head toward the city. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel, preferred location, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your safari.
