Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, check out, and embark on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park before departing. Later, set off for Masai Mara National Reserve, approximately a 5-hour drive. You'll arrive in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive at the famous Masai Mara, home to the great wildebeest migration.
Dinner and overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara Full Day
After breakfast, embark on a full day of unlimited game viewing in the Masai Mara, encountering the Big Five and more of the lesser game. The reserve remains one of the most exciting wildlife ecosystems in the world, with a high and varied concentration of wild animals. You will have a picnic lunch by the Mara River.
Dinner and overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp.
Day 4: Masai Mara - Serengeti
Enjoy an early breakfast, check out with lunch boxes, and go to the Tanzanian border post at Isebania, where you will meet our Tanzanian driver/guide for your transfer to the Serengeti. Please ensure you have a valid visa to enter Tanzania, as the visa application process can be time-consuming. After clearing immigration formalities you'll exchange vehicles and check in at the Embalakai Tented Camp in the evening.
Day 5: Full Day at Serengeti National Park
Enjoy breakfast and proceed on a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is defined by vast grassy plains, and being surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle is an experience of a lifetime. After a picnic lunch on the plains, you continue your game drive until the evening and return to camp as the sun sets, to wind down next to the crackling bush fire.
Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Tented Camp.
Day 6: Serengeti - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater to view the game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The crater shelters almost 30,000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the volcano's slopes, and you may find the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. It is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, with steep walls that rise 610 meters from the floor. You will have a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, then ascend to your lodge in the Karatu area for sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Farms of Dream Lodge in Karatu.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire
Enjoy breakfast, check out, and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive and picnic lunch. Tarangire hosts large herds of elephants digging in the dry river bed for water, alongside wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, impalas, gazelles, hartebeest, and elands. It is also one of the few places in Tanzania where dry-country antelopes such as the fringe-eared oryx and the long-necked gerenuk are regularly seen.
Later, drive to Baobab Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Tarangire - Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, check out with lunch boxes and go to the Namanga border post, where you will meet our driver for your transfer to Amboseli National Park. In Amboseli, you'll go on a game drive looking for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, ostriches and more. The park is a photographer's dream, framed by the snowy flanks and summit of Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 9: Full Day at Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, head to the plains of Amboseli for a full day of adventure. Enjoy excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit, and catch the big cats strolling through the savannah. This is the best time to spot lions, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants, with over 80 mammal species and more than 400 bird species recorded. Visit Amboseli Observation Hill for a picnic lunch and panoramic views of the park.
Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 10: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi
