Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Setting off from Nairobi, you will savor around six hours of stunning landscapes in Kenya, ranging from busy urban centers to the peaceful countryside of the North. When you get to Samburu National Reserve, you will check in to your lodge and have a hot lunch before heading out for your afternoon game drive.

In the late afternoon, you will have a wonderful opportunity to explore the regal Samburu landscape of rivers, grasslands, and acacia woodlands where the Samburu Special Five comprises Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, the gerenuk, and the Beisa oryx. At the end of your evening, you will return to Sopa to enjoy your dinner and have a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2: Explore Samburu National Reserve

Start your day with a game drive before breakfast, where you will enjoy the serenity of Samburu hills. This is a wonderful time to capture unforgettable memories as the big cats are most active and visible. After your morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast, after which you can enjoy your free time in the lodge, taking in the spellbinding views or a cool dip in the pool.

Later in the day, you will visit a Samburu village, where you will enjoy the local cultural and hospitality.This experience will link you to the history and culture of Kenya. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Sopa.

Day 3: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart from Samburu and drive south to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located between the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Ranges.
Upon arrival, check in at Comfort Gardens and enjoy lunch in the serene surroundings of the conservancy.

In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across Ol Pejeta, home to rhinos, elephants, and other remarkable wildlife. If time permits, visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary to learn about the rescued primates.
Return to Comfort Gardens  for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, driving through scenic highlands and rural landscapes.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive around the shimmering pink shores of Lake Nakuru, famous for flamingos, rhinos, and other wildlife.

As the sun sets, enjoy breathtaking views across the lake before returning to Sopa for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast you depart to Amboseli National Park. With famous views of Kilimanjaro and large majestic elephant herds, it is hard to find a better National Park. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch at your lodge.

After lunch, your lodge will prepare you for an afternoon game drive. You will travel through Amboseli National Park and witness the elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes, and a whole host of other game. You will be able to catch a stunning sunset view before returning for dinner at Sopa .

Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

This morning will be the first of three full days in the park. Wake for a dawn game drive, and travel for the park for views of the peak. Kilimanjaro is a massive and stunning sight. In Amboseli you will be able to witness elephants in their natural environment.

Post-lunch you will be able to visit thematic landscapes. There are wetlands, and a wide host of other geographic variations. You can visit a Maasai village, famous for their warm and rich native culture.

Day 7: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Following breakfast, you will take a drive to arrive at Tsavo West National Park. It is a land of volcanic hills, lava flows and rolling savannas. It will be time to check in at your lodge and then go for a fantastic game drive.

Afterwards you can visit Mzima Springs, a refreshing oasis fed by a network of underground rivers where you will be able to see hippos and crocodiles in the crystal clear waters. Finally, you will be able to visit Shetani Lava Flow, a stark reminder of Kenya’s volcanic past.

Day 8: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

Breakfast, then transfer to Tsavo East National Park, one of the largest and oldest parks in Kenya. The red-earth plains and expansive wild vistas are perfect for spotting large elephant herds often caked in thick, red dust.

Head to the Aruba Dam, a popular and scenic spot where animals congregate to drink, and then continue to Lugard Falls, well known for its beautiful rapids along the Galana River for a picturesque afternoon.Dinner and overnight Sentrim.

Day 9: Full Day in Tsavo East National Park

Spend the day exploring Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and most scenic parks. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across the red-earth plains, where you can spot large herds of elephants, lions, zebras, and a variety of bird species.

Visit key attractions such as the Aruba Dam and Lugard Falls, known for their beautiful rapids along the Galana River. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and your final overnight stay in the wild.

Day 10: Tsavo East to Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy your final morning game drive as you exit the park, taking in the last glimpses of Kenya’s incredible landscapes and wildlife.

Depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or at your preferred location in Nairobi, marking the end of your unforgettable 10-day safari adventure through Kenya’s most iconic national parks.
