Travelling with children?
Children are welcome. Tell us their ages when you enquire and we will plan the pace and choose camps that suit them, as some camps set their own minimum ages. Our safari vehicles have standard adult seats and we do not supply child seats, so please tell us if your child needs one. Child rates are not listed on this page; we send them to you on request.
A 6-day comfort safari linking Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and the Maasai Mara. Spend a full day in each of Amboseli and the Mara, with a stop at Lake Nakuru in between. The day-by-day itinerary, inclusions and rates are set out below.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and driven to Amboseli National Park, with a stop at Emali Souvenirs Shop along the way. After check-in and lunch you head out on an afternoon game drive to look for wildlife. Dinner and the night are at Aa Lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Exploring Amboseli National Park
Start with an early morning game drive to catch the sunrise and watch the park's wildlife wake up. You can add an optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions, and stop at Observation Hill for panoramic views across the park. The rest of the day is spent exploring Amboseli and its elephants, with dinner and the night at the camp.
Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park
In the morning you leave Amboseli for Lake Nakuru National Park. After check-in and lunch, an afternoon game drive shows you the park's scenic views and wildlife. Dinner and the night are at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After checking out, you drive to the Maasai Mara and arrive at Sekenani Camp in time for lunch. The afternoon is for a game drive across the reserve, followed by dinner and the night at Sekenani Camp.
Day 5: Full Day Exploring Maasai Mara Reserve
Spend the full day on game drives in the Maasai Mara, known for its diverse wildlife, with a picnic lunch beside the Mara River. Dinner and the night are at the camp.
Day 6: Return to Nairobi
After breakfast and check-out, you drive back to Nairobi with a packed lunch and are dropped at your hotel, your pick-up point or the airport.
