This 15-day Kenya wildlife safari links five landscapes in one grand loop: Meru National Park, the foothills of Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru, the rainforest birdlife of Kakamega, the Maasai Mara and Amboseli beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. Itinerary
Days 1–2: Nairobi – Meru National Park
You depart Nairobi at 7:00 AM and drive to Meru National Park, then arrive in time for lunch and relaxation. Then you go on an afternoon game drive to explore the park's wildlife. Dinner and the night are at Meru Ikweta Hotel & Lodges.
Day 3: Meru National Park – Mt. Kenya Safari Club
You go on an early morning game drive in Meru National Park. Then you drive to Mt. Kenya Safari Club, a renowned resort with a history of celebrity visits. Later you have lunch and leisure. After that, you enjoy activities like horse riding, guided nature walks, or visiting the zigzagging puzzle. Dinner and the night are at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.
Day 4: Mount Kenya – Lake Nakuru National Park
In the morning, you depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingos. Then you arrive in time for lunch and check-in. Later you go on an afternoon game drive to explore the park's wildlife and scenic views. Dinner and the night are at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Kakamega Forest
You depart Lake Nakuru and drive to Kakamega Forest, a remnant of the equatorial rainforest. Then you arrive in time for dinner and overnight stay at Rondo Retreat Center.
Days 6–7: Kakamega Forest
You spend the full day birdwatching in Kakamega Forest, known for its rich birdlife. Then you explore the forest to see various bird and animal species. Lunch, dinner and the night are at Rondo Retreat Center.
Day 8: Kakamega Forest – Maasai Mara National Reserve
You have breakfast and departure for Maasai Mara National Reserve, then arrive in time for lunch. Then you go on an afternoon game drive to explore the park's wildlife. Dinner and the night are at Mara Sekenani Camp.
Day 9: Full Day Maasai Mara
You go on a full-day game drive to explore the Maasai Mara, known for its diverse wildlife. Then you have a picnic lunch by the Mara River. Dinner and the night are at Mara Sekenani Camp.
Day 10: Exploring Maasai Mara
You go on a full-day game drive to explore the Maasai Mara, known for its black-maned lions and cheetahs. Then you enjoy birdwatching opportunities. Dinner and the night are at the camp.
Day 11: Maasai Mara Reserve – Lake Naivasha National Park
Early in the morning, you drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful Rift Valley lake. You can add an optional boat ride and visit to Crescent Island. Lunch, dinner and the night are at Lake Naivasha Country Club.
Day 12: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, you depart for Amboseli National Park. Then you stop to view the Rift Valley scenery, then have lunch and check-in at Amboseli Aa Lodge. Later you go on an evening game drive to explore the park's wildlife. Dinner and the night are at Amboseli Aa Lodge.
Days 13–14: Exploring Amboseli National Park
You go on an early morning game drive to enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You can add an optional visit to a Maasai village. Then you explore the park to see elephants and other wildlife. Lunch, dinner and the night are at Aa Lodge.
Day 15: Return to Nairobi
You drive back to Nairobi in the afternoon. You can add an optional city excursions and lunch or dinner at Carnivore or Safari Park Hotel.
