    Itinerary

    Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve – The Northern Frontier

    Kenya’s Rugged Beauty and Rare Wildlife Your luxury safari begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the lush Central Highlands, passing coffee plantations before descending into the dramatic, arid landscapes of Samburu. Upon arrival at your lodge, a hot lunch awaits before you head out for your first game drive. Samburu is home to species found nowhere else in the country. As the sun sets over the Ewaso Nyiro River, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay under the vast northern stars.

    Day 2: Full Day Explore Samburu National Reserve

    Tracking the “Samburu Special Five” Dedicate your day to discovering the unique wildlife of this region. Early morning and late afternoon drives offer the best chance to see the “Special Five”: the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and the long-necked gerenuk. The river attracts large herds of elephants and predators like leopards and lions. Between drives, enjoy the luxury of your lodge or opt for a cultural visit to a local Samburu village to learn about their ancient traditions.

    Day 3: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – The Rhino Sanctuary

    Exclusive Conservation and Chimpanzee Encounters After breakfast, drive south to Ol Pejeta, a private conservancy that serves as a vital “bridge” on your journey. This is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and home to the world’s last two remaining Northern White Rhinos. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary to learn about rescued primates before an afternoon game drive. The conservancy boasts one of the highest predator densities in Kenya, offering intimate sightings of lions and cheetah.

    Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park – The Pink Shores

    Rhino Conservation and Bird-Watching Paradise Depart for Lake Nakuru, stopping at the scenic Thomson’s Falls along the way. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by a drive around the shimmering alkaline lake. Known for its thousands of flamingos that fringe the shores in pink, the park is also a premier sanctuary for both black and white rhinoceros. Keep an eye out for the rare Rothschild’s giraffe and the famous tree-climbing lions that frequent the acacia woodlands.

    Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara – Into the Great Savannah

    Entering Kenya’s Most Iconic Wildlife Territory Travel toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. After checking into your luxury camp and enjoying lunch, embark on your first game drive in these legendary plains. The Mara is world-renowned for its high concentration of big cats and the Great Migration. As darkness falls, return to your camp for dinner, listening to the distant roars of lions echoing across the savannah.

    Day 6 & 7: Full Days in the Maasai Mara

    The Ultimate Big Five Experience Spend two full days exploring the vast Mara ecosystem. With morning and afternoon game drives, you will track the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. You can request for a Hot Air Balloon(opt.) safari at dawn for a bird’s-eye view of the plains, followed by a king’s breakfast in the bush. Visit a traditional Maasai village (opt.) to engage with the local community or enjoy sundowners as the sun dips below the horizon.

    Day 8: Maasai Mara to Diani Beach – Savannah to Sea

    Luxury Flight Transfer to the Indian Ocean Trade the safari dust for the ocean breeze. After a final morning game drive, you will be transferred to the airstrip for a private flight directly to Diani Beach. This flight saves you over 10 hours of driving. Upon arrival at Ukunda Airstrip, a private transfer will whisk you to your beachfront resort. Enjoy a seafood dinner overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

    Day 9: Diani Beach – Tropical Relaxation

    Sun, Sand, and Serenity Enjoy a full day of leisure on the white sands of Diani, consistently voted Africa’s best beach. You can spend your day relaxing by the pool, or opt for water activities such as snorkeling at Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, glass-bottom boat rides, or a visit to the sacred Kaya Kinondo Forest.

    Day 10: Diani to Nairobi – Safari Conclusion

    Farewell to Magical Kenya Enjoy a final tropical breakfast and a morning dip in the ocean. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable 10-day luxury adventure.
