Overview

Tsavo is made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. Located in Coast Province of Kenya in between Nairobi City and Mombasa.

Tsavo is nearly 22,000km2, being the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world. The park was split into two due to the railway going from Mombasa to the interior of Kenya.

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close.

Day 1 :

Tsavo West National Park

After an early breakfast depart to Tsavo west National/Park an international wildlife and environmental treasure chest that contains a variety of habitat, geological soil types, animals, birds and plants. The park is close to Amboseli National Park, and on a clear day in Tsavo West you can see the Kilimanjaro. Tsavo West in Kenya is hilly, rocky, greener and more vegetated than Tsavo East but each has its own diversity.
Arrive in time for lunch, after lunch extensive game drives to the shetani lava flow and Mzima springs.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 :

Tsavo West -Amboseli National Park

Depart after early breakfast to Amboseli National/Park at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest
mountain via Tsavo west National/Park, game drives en-route to arrive in time for lunch.The views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, coupled with the variety of game to be found, draws the visitors in.The park borders with Tanzania, is most famed for its' large herds of elephants and lions are also found.

Day 3 :

Tsavo East National park Ndololo Camp

Wake up early when Mt. Kilimanjaro peaks are clear for dawn game drives before returning for breakfasat. Depart to Tsavo East National Park with savannah grassland thorny bushes, swampy marshland unique landscape because of the Yatta Plateau formed from the lava that oozed from Ol Doinyo Sabuk Mountain. Stop over at Mtito Andei for lunch. Afternoon extensive game drive, a variety of animals can be seen: lions, leopard, cheetah, zebras, giraffes, serval, antelopes, kongoni, lesser kudu, oryx, klipspringer, impala, stripped hyena, ostriches, gazelles, buffalos, elephants and many more.
Lugard Falls gush through a small fissure, narrow enough for the foolhardy to leap across, before dropping to Crocodile Point below, where the river changes its name to the Galana. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 4 :

Mombasa/Malindi/Watamu Departure

Dawn game drives, return for breakfast, check-out and depart to Nairobi to arrive Nairobi late afternoon.
