This tour has been designed specifically to focus on the wildebeest migration from
July to October. Throughout every year in East Africa, wildebeest along with zebra, gazelle and other animals, migrate in spectacular herds comprising millions of animals altogether across Kenya and Tanzania.

Day 1 :

You will be picked up by a Cherish Africa Safari representative from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Our representative will answer all your other queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterward, you will be taken to your accommodation.

Overnight stay at Sarova Panafric Nairobi

Early in the morning. Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel. Thereafter depart for Lake Naivasha after a short safari briefing. You will be driven along the breathtaking Great Rift Valley (with a short stop at the viewpoint for photographic opportunities). After arrival check-in proceed for a late morning boat ride, followed by lunch thereafter. Spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure or simply relax in your rooms. In the afternoon depart for a guided tour in the Crescent Island where you get to walk amongst the antelope family and get closer to the Giraffes and Wildebeests.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club

After a scrumptious breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, driving via the Masai town of Narok to arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive thereafter.

Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge

You will spend the next four days in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara offers one of the best opportunities to see cheetahs and lions in Africa. You will have the best chance to witness and watch firsthand as thousands of wildebeest migrate across the swollen crocodile-infested Mara River. This is one of nature’s greatest wildlife spectacles, the wildebeest migration, which reaches Masai Mara. The sheer number of wildebeests arriving in the area is staggering. The migration is a dramatic mass movement of almost two million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles in a seasonal annual cycle driven by rain. In order to reach Masai Mara fresh grazing, wildebeests make dramatic river crossings, facing enormous crocodiles to feast on the Mara plains and regain their strength.
During these days you will visit a local Maasai Village for a cultural tour.

All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.

Enjoy your breakfast followed by check out. Drive back to Nairobi, You'll be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward departure.
