Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and we will first drive through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley to take some pictures of the beautiful view. After which, there will be another stop-over optional for lunch before we continue our drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be guided to your accommodation to settle in and relax with snacks and coffee. This will be followed by your first afternoon game drive, your first taste of African wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at the camp
After breakfast, you will leave with your packed lunch for a whole of exploring Maasai Mara national reserve as you follow the great wildebeest migration, on this day you will do morning and afternoon game drive as you fall the columns of the wildebeest migration giving you an opportunity to see other animals apart from wildebeests, gazelles and zebras taking part in the migration. Some of the animals you will watch include elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes among others.
At lunch you will have picnic lunch set amazing picnic sites at the banks of Mara River, in the evening you will head back to your camp have dinner and overnight.
After morning breakfast , you will checkout and with your packed lunch you will head for another expedition searching and following the great wildebeest migration, while in the park you will spend the full day exploring and looking for the vast columns of wildebeests accompanied by zebras and gazelles.
The annual wildebeest migration in Masai Mara national reserve is expected between July and early November and during this game drive you will have a chance to millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles crossing from Mara River from Serengeti national park to enter Maasai Mara plains. One of the best sites to visit so as to watch the migration is the Mara River, you will have lunch at one of the picnic sites . Maasai village can be arranged. Here you will be welcomed by the locals singing and dancing, a sacred ritual that has formed their rich tradition. Part of the tour includes a glimpse to their local homes and way of life.
Dinner and overnight at the camp
We will start the day with an early morning game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. After which, we will depart for Lake Nakuru National park located in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is home to a stunning flock of lesser and greater Flamingos, turning the lakeshores into a magnificent pink stretch. The park has diverse species of over 400 birds such as White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa where you can see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild’s Giraffe.

Drive and head back to Nairobi in the afternoon optional city excursions depending on your departure time. lunch or dinner at carnivore or safari park hotel the both offer the best African barbeque
