Overview

Meru National Park in Kenya is little visited and utterly unspoiled. 350km from Nairobi, the park cover an area of 870sq km. The only park you can spot the Big Five within a short period of time.

Fans of the 1966 film Born Free will be familiar with Elsa the lioness. Raised as orphans by George and Joy Adamson after the tragic death of her mother, the story of Elsa was immortalised in the 1966 film. The burial site of Elsa the lioness is situated close to the former campsite of the Adamson’s.

This tour is a perfect combination of wildlife and bird watching with more than 427 recorded spices of bird. It is a home to the stealthy and elusive leopard.

Itinerary

Depart Nairobi at 7:00 am and drive directly to the Meru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. You will have your lunch then relax for sometime before starting your afternoon game drive
In this untamed wilderness until dusk. Meru National Park is the home to many other animals as well, including cheetah, hippo, zebra, giraffe, hartebeest, oryx, oribi, waterbuck and many more.
Dinner and overnight at the camp

After breakfast, you will start your game drive. You will spend your day game viewing. The park is quiet and silent since there is no congestion. Meru National Park is famous for its lions and it's also where you can find the herd of largest buffalo in Kenya. As its the land of Big Five, of course, it’s the best place to find rhinos.
Lunch,Dinner and overnight stay at the camp

After breakfast depart from Meru to Nairobi. You will be dropped at the city centre
