DAY 01- 03 NAIROBI – SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK
Depart Nairobi in the early stopping enroute to the breathtaking view of the Great Rift Valley escarpments looking out for Mt Suswa and Longonot in the far distance. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. The reserve is renowned for its unique wildlife and stunning landscapes. Over 400 bird species has been recorded in the park. These includes the African Darter, White-headed Vulture Great Egret, Yellow-billed Oxpecker and Martial Eagle. Other large birds of prey often seen includes Pygmy falcons. You can also look out for smaller birds like bustards, weavers, shrikes, woodpeckers and flycatchers. Samburu National Park also presents the special five, this includes species unique to the region such as the Gravy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Generuk and Beisa Oryx. The park is also home to large herds of elephants, a minimum of 900 elephants. You can also spot lions, leopards and cheetahs, African buffalo, hippos and various antelope species.

DAY 04-05 SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK – ARBERDARE
Early breakfast and proceed to Aberdare National Park. The park is famous for the Treetops Lodge, where Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth II in 1952. It is characterized by its mountainous terrain, deep valleys and impressive waterfalls such as Karuru, Gura and Chania Falls. Over 250 bird species has been recorded at the park. These includes the endangered Aberdare Cisticola, Jackson’s Spurfowl, African Goshawk, African Fish Eagle, Sunbirds and Plovers. Other birds you can spot at the park are, African Yellow Warbler, Jackson’s Francolin, Golden-winged Sunbird, Hartlaub’s Turaco and Hunter’s Cisticola. Aberdare National Park is also home to rare species like the Eastern Bongo [a large forest antelope], Black Rhino, Black Serval and the elusive Black leopard. Elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, warthogs, giant’s forest hogs, bushbucks, red duikers, suni, reedbucks and elands can also be seen.

DAY 06-07 ABERDARE – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park which is home to over 500 species of birds, making it a premier bird watching destination. The park is famous for its large flocks of flamingos, both the lesser and greater species, which create a stunning pink hue along the shores of Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru National Park also accommodates several endangered and vulnerable bird species, which includes the Grey Crowned – Crane, White – backed Vulture and Rueppell’s Griffon. Other remarkable birds includes the African Fish Eagle, Goliath Heron and various species of ducks, storks and pelicans. The park is also home to a variety of mammals which consists of Lions, Leopards and the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffes. You can also be able to see both black and white Rhinos, Waterbucks, Impalas and Buffaloes among other species. You may enjoy a guided nature walk in the vicinity of the camp grounds.

DAY: 08 LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – LAKE BARINGO NATIONAL PARK
Early breakfast and head to Lake Baringo National Park. The park is situated in the remote west- central region of Kenya covering an area of 130 sq. km. Lake Baringo boosts of around 470 bird species including Waterfowl, flamingoes, pelicans, cormorants and fish eagles the lake also features islands which are visited on a boat ride. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon embark on a game drive.

DAY: 09-10 LAKE BARINGO – LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast you will proceed to Lake Naivasha National Park which is located in the Great Rift Valley, about 90 kilometers northwest of Nairobi. The park covers 140 sq. km and it boosts of over 400 bird species which include water birds like Pelicans, Cormorants, Herons and Flamingos. The African Fish Eagle is a notable resident, often seen swooping down to catch fish from the lake. Other birds include weavers, warblers and various species of ducks, geese and swans. The park is also home to a variety of mammals such as Hippos, which are often seen in the lake, Giraffes, Zebras and Buffaloes in the surrounding areas. You can also be able to spot the Black and White Colobus Monkeys and Ververt Monkeys in the woodlands. The rich flora around the lake attracts various animals, making it a vibrant ecosystem.

DAY: 11-13 LAKE NAIVASHA – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, you will check out and drive towards Narok town to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will check in and have lunch at your camp. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive and return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
The next days, you will have breakfast at the camp and proceed for a morning game drive in the reserve. Carry with you lunch boxes for a full game drive. Embark on afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset. You can have a visit at Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at your camp. Maasai Mara offers a unique variety of animals. The region has two rivers, Talek and Mara which are full of hippos and crocodiles, with their banks covered in thick forest which gradually makes way for grassland and shrubland. Maasai Mara has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa The wildebeest migration is the largest live unique animal behavior, which happens annually. The migration starts in July when millions of wildebeest and other grazers cross the mighty river Mara from Serengeti to Maasai Mara. They cross back to Tanzania Serengeti National Park from October. Maasai Mara National Reserve is regarded as a birding paradise with over 500 bird species recorded. It has both migratory birds who come from different parts of the world that come mostly for breeding. The park is gifted with not only abundant wildlife but also a lot of birds ranging from the Maasai Ostrich, the secretary bird, vultures, lovebirds, different types of doves and many more.
DAY: 14-16 MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE – AMBOSELI PARK
After breakfast, you will drive to Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at your leisure and go on your first game drive. Amboseli National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants, with over 1,500 elephant individuals. These elephants are known for their impressive tusks. The park features a mix of savannah, woodlands and wetlands including swamps fed by underground rivers from Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow melt. Amboseli is also a great place to experience Maasai culture. The park offers breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free- standing mountain in the world. The park is home to over 400 bird species including pelicans, kingfishers, crakes and the Madagascar pond Heron. You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge. You will spend the next day exploring Amboseli National Park.
DAY: 17-18 AMBOSELI – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Rise up early for an exciting game drive with magnificent views of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Return to the lodge for late breakfast then depart for Tsavo East National Park, arriving for lunch. The park covers an area of 13,747 sq. kilometers. The sight of dust of dust red elephants wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This along with the 300-kilometer long Yatta plateau, the longest lava flow in the world makes for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. Ngulia Hills, one the landmarks in the park, is situated along one of the world’s busiest avian migration routes. Bird ringers make an annual pilgrimage here between October and January. Ngulia is the site of Africa’s foremost bird ringing project, which involves tagging to enable individual bird identification.

DAY: 19 TSAVO EAST – DIANI
Have breakfast at the lodge then check out and leave for Mombasa where you will be dropped off at the resort to check in for your stays in Diani. Diani beach is a major beach resort on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is located 30 kilometers south of Mombasa, in the nearby Kwale County and also known to be a popular kite surfing location.
DAY: 20 DIANI- NAIROBI
After breakfast you will be provided with transportation to the Ukunda Airstrip for your domestic flight to Nairobi. Upon your arrival, you’ll eat lunch and then go on a brief city tour. You’ll have be dropped off later at the airport to catch your flight home.
