Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
Leave Nairobi after breakfast to Samburu, heading north, you’ll pass near Thika and continue north through some breath taking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, you’ll continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district. From here it’s a fairly short hop to Samburu. Arrival at the camp on time for check –in and lunch. In the late afternoon you will depart for your first game drive returning to the camp as the sunsets.

Day 2: Exploring Samburu National Park
After an early breakfast, you will Venture out in search of the big cats of Samburu and other wild species before returning to the lodge for lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure and refreshing as you get ready for your evening game drive. Your evening game drive will commerce in the afternoon where you will go out and enjoy different species of flora and fauna while the sun is setting. The Samburu Reserve is one of the most visited national parks with plenty of wildlife ranging from the rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk to the Beisa Oryx (also known as the Samburu Special Five).

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve – Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, travel overland south crossing the equator to The Aberdare Country Club, nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill. After lunch and high tea, set off for the Ark tree lodge, located in the forest on mountain slopes of the Aberdare Mountains at 7,000 feet. This outstanding lodge offers high altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet, and the elusive bongo. Wildlife can be observed from different levels – and from outside where you can see, hear and smell everything and inside where you can sit with a cup of tea and stay warm and cozy. You can put in a request to be awakened during the night if your favourite animals show up. A herd of Elephants might be just feet away and if you are lucky, a Leopard or large male Lion might put in an appearance.

Day 4: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, there will be a morning pick up, as we drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with an en route game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is Known all over the world for its flamingos. The lake is alkaline and recognized as being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. You’ll arrive at the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and check –in. In the afternoon we will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park including visits to view points, which offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos [greater and lesser] and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhinos and buffalos and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering 450 species

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast check out from the lodge and proceed to Maasai Mara, (approx. 5 hrs. drive. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. “The Magical Mara” is one of Kenya’s best loved reserves. It is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Each year, Mara is the staging ground for the “Great Migration”, one of the awe-inspiring natural events of the world. After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive where you shall have the opportunity to view the “Big Five” namely the Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino and the Leopard. The Mara is also known for the abundance of lions.

Day 6: Full Day Exploring Maasai Mara Reserve
Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza! Maasai Mara game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem. It is a host to the highest and most varied concentration for wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savanna plains; the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species make it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Maasai Mara on a full day unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch Hippos and Crocodiles.
Return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Maasai Mara Reserve – Lake Naivasha
You will have an early morning game drive en route Lake Naivasha. It is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes. Naivasha is yet another area popular for birdwatching [over 400 species]. There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. An optional boat ride can be organized at an extra cost. You will also visit Crescent Island. It can be described as a garden, an animal sanctuary or simply a little paradise. If you enjoy photography, then you will be overwhelmed by the beauty that crescent Island holds. From small to big animals and birds, the sunset hits the water’s surface and the lush green vegetation that covers the space. Most of the animals here are herbivores such as the giraffes, zebras, impalas and hippos.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha –Amboseli National Park
You will have an early morning drive to Amboseli National Park. You will check in at your accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive. Amboseli National Park is situated due south of Nairobi. Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland. In the southern area, there are a number of small, rocky volcanic hills. The park is known as the best place to view large herds of elephants up close. There is an immense view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is across the border of Kenya and Tanzania. It is also dominated by vast Lake Amboseli which is dry outside the rainy season. There are more than 600 species of birds in the park.

Day 9: Full Day Exploring Amboseli National Park
You’ll rise up early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with a packed lunch provided. An optional visit reveals to a Maasai village can be planned after breakfast [at an extra cost]. The visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at a close range. Left carefree, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any safari.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 10: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park
You will start the day with an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. Later, you will check out and embark on a 4 hours drive to Tsavo West National Park. You will enjoy game drives as you en route to the lodge. You’ll check in at the lodge early in the afternoon and have lunch. You will enjoy afternoon games at this amazing park preferably known as home to red elephants. Tsavo West National Park and Tsavo East National Park are the two national parks that form the great Tsavo National Parks. This park is known as the “land of lava, springs, man-eaters and magical sunsets.” The park is also home to over fifty million gallons of crystal clear water that comes from under parched lava rock. The Mzima Springs and the Shetani lava flows are unique attractions found at the park. Tsavo West National Park is wetter than Tsavo East National Park and is one of the oldest parks in Kenya.
You will later return to Severin Safari Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 11: Full Day Exploring Tsavo West
After breakfast, you will head out for full day game drive to visit the different attraction sites in the park as well viewing the wildlife species. You will visit Mzima Springs which is the source of water for the park and get to enjoy its beautiful scenery. You will also visit the Shetani Lava flow area and you will get to understand about the nature of the area and as to why it was named “Shetani”.
Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic sites around the lava are as you enjoy the cool breeze of the place. The game drive will go on afterwards until evening.

Day 12: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park
You’ll enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and later check out and embark on a 4 hours drive to Tsavo East National Park. You will enjoy game drives en route to Tsavo East. You will check in early in the afternoon and have lunch. You will enjoy afternoon games at this amazing park preferably known as home to red elephants. Tsavo East National Park is Situated in Kenya’s southeast, near the Tanzanian border and is close to the Kenyan coast. Spanning 13,747 square kilometres of pristine wilderness, it is also one of the most extensive protected areas in Kenya and has more biodiversity than any other park globally, as it marks the meeting point between northern and southern wildlife. It is 9 times bigger than the Maasai Mara and is well known for its mane-less lions, big herds of red dust-covered elephants, and cheetahs. The vegetation is sparse, so wildlife spotting is generally easier than its counterpart.
You’ll later return to Ashnil Aruba for dinner and an overnight Stay.
Day 13: Full Day Exploring Tsavo East
After breakfast, you will leave the lodge for a morning game drive. During the drive you will get to see and enjoy different animal species in the park. Afterwards you will head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon you will head out for the another game drive and a sundowner can be arranged for you as you enjoy the beautiful African sunset while taking your drinks.

Day 14: Return to Nairobi
You will have breakfast at the camp followed by check out, you will depart for Nairobi via road transport/Sgr at an Extra cost. You will be dropped off at your hotel/pick up location/airport.
